Because of the many requests by owners of our wildly popular tkcCard database application for Embedded Linux, we've now released a desktop version of this application. tkcCard and tkCard are meant to be a rapid application for organizing and storing any type of arbitrary data. If something like Microsoft Access or our own Rekall are just overkill for your requirements, but you need a way to organize data, then tkCard is for you. With tkCard you have an application that is similar to something like MobileDB for the Palm OS. You can create and manage virtually any type of data, and with our predefined datatypes, it's even easier. Because this is a port of our popular embedded version, we've even included a feature to allow you to rapidly pass databases back and forth with the desktop to make it even easier, this is not synchronization, this is a file transfer, manipulation and return of the data. tkCard has the following features:

• Virtually unlimited number of databases (only limited by available storage space)


• Virtually unlimited number of fields per database (only limited by available storage space)


• Field types: String, Integrer, Double, Date, Time, DateTime, Bool, Memo, Reminder, Text, List, Autoincrement, Multilist


• Both a "quick" and "full" edit capability


• Image file support to include a graphic with a record


• Ability to import the popular MobileDB databases used on the Palm and Jfile as well as CSV format


• Export to CSV file format


• Full Unicode support, including for the importation of data


• Filters - define filter criteria to quickly narrow down subsets of data


• Sort your table on any field


• Password protect your databases


• Transfer databases between your desktop and your mobile device (this is not synchronization)
